Heather Sorenson's EX NIHILO: Seven Days is a newly commissioned major concert work scored for chorus, symphony orchestra, and soloists. Spanning seven movements — each depicting a day of creation — this ambitious new work offers a sweeping musical exploration of Genesis through Heather Sorenson’s distinctive artistic voice, where impressionistic color, romantic expressiveness, and classical craftsmanship converge.
